Common questions

How much does food photography cost in Sacramento?

Food photography with Scene & Action starts at $750 for a Menu Refresh, which covers up to six dishes and roughly 15 edited images. A full Restaurant Content Day is $1,400, and a Photo and Motion day that adds short vertical videos is $2,200. Final pricing depends on how many dishes, whether you want video, and how much of the space and staff you want documented.

How long does a restaurant photo shoot take?

A focused menu shoot runs about two hours, timed around a slow service window so the kitchen is not under pressure. A full content day is up to four hours and covers dishes, drinks, interior, and staff at work. I plan the shot list ahead of time so the session moves quickly.

Do you photograph food for delivery apps like DoorDash and Uber Eats?

Yes. Delivery platform photos are one of the most common reasons restaurants book me, because clean, bright, consistent images noticeably lift orders. I shoot in the square and vertical formats those apps use, alongside menu and social versions of the same dishes.

Who owns the photos, and can I use them in ads?

You get full rights to use the images across your website, menus, delivery apps, and organic social media. If you plan to run them in paid advertising, we note that in writing up front so the licensing is clear. I keep this simple and spelled out before the shoot.

How soon do I get the photos back?

Edited selects come back within about 10 to 14 business days. If you have a menu launch or a campaign on a deadline, tell me and I can prioritize a smaller set of hero images sooner.
